A rare silver-plated spoon ring from 1906, handcrafted to order from an exceptionally hard-to-find pattern.
This silver-plated spoon ring is made to order and handcrafted after purchase in the ring size you select. It is created from a rare vintage spoon produced by Simmons Hardware Company in 1906 in the Thistle pattern.
Simmons Hardware Co. was headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, making this piece an especially meaningful local find discovered here in St. Louis. The Thistle pattern features bold, flowing botanical details inspired by traditional thistle motifs, with strong lines and sculptural depth that translate beautifully into a substantial band-style ring.
Spoons from this pattern are exceptionally difficult to source, and rarely appear for sale. This ring is made from authentic antique flatware originally marked S.H. Co. Because of the rarity of this pattern, quantities are extremely limited and replacements are unlikely.
Silverplate rings are lighter weight than solid silver and have a bright, classic silver finish. Each ring is shaped by hand after purchase, so small variations are part of what make your piece unique.
