Caring for your spoon ring
Our rings are handcrafted from genuine vintage flatware, mainly stainless steel, with a few special pieces made from silver-plated pieces. Each one has its own story and character, and with a little care, it will stay beautiful for years to come.
For Stainless Steel Rings:
Stainless steel is incredibly durable, resistant to tarnish, and made for everyday wear.
Care Tips:
- Wipe with a soft cloth to keep the shine.
- Clean gently with mild soap and warm water; dry fully with a soft towel.
- Avoid bleach, chlorine, or harsh chemicals, as they can dull the finish.
- Store separately to prevent scratches.
- Submerging in water is fine. Just rinse and dry after swimming, showering, or washing your hands.
Each ring started life as real flatware, so small marks or pattern wear are part of its story.
For Silver-Plated Rings
Silver-plated flatware has a thin layer of silver over a base metal, which gives it a beautiful shine but needs a little extra care.
Care Tips:
- Polish occasionally with a soft silver polishing cloth - never abrasive pads.
- Avoid wearing while swimming, showering, or applying lotions or perfumes.
- When not in use, store in a dry place away from humidity.
- Over time, a gentle patina may appear - this natural aging adds to the vintage charm.
Treat your silver-plated jewelry gently, and it will keep its timeless glow.
