We are Tara and Josh, the hands and hearts behind Stoddard Silverworks. Our story began on an anniversary trip, when we wandered into a little shop and found some spoon rings. We were instantly inspired, not just by how beautiful they were, but by the idea that something old and forgotten could become something meaningful again. That moment sparked an idea that turned into a passion: giving vintage and antique silverware a second life.
We spend our weekends hunting for vintage flateware in antique shops and thrift stores across the midwest. Each spoon we find carries its own bit of history - a pattern, a maker's mark, a memory of a family table long ago.
Back in our small workshop just outside of St. Louis, MO, we carefully cut, shape, and polish each piece by hand. Every mark or curve tells its own story, and we do our best to preserve that charm. No two rings will ever be exactly alike, and that's the beauty of it.
We believe jewelry should mean something, not just match an outfit. Each piece we make is a small celebration of craftsmenship, sustainability, and nostalgia.
When you wear one of our spoon rings, you're wearing a story. A reminder that beauty doesn't fade with age, it just takes a new form.
